Hey guys, just wanted to give you a head's up, just to keep on the safe side. The full list is here, but here are some of the demon-encouraging activities I thought some of you might be susceptible to, and your names:

* Astral Projection (Radcliffe)
* Ouija Board (spoet)
* Magic Eight Ball (Dov)
* Magic--The Gathering (Cotton)
* Satanism (Billzebub)
* Dungeons & Dragons (Cotton, again)
* Blood pacts or cutting yourself on purpose (FT)
* Sexual spirits (pumachik)
* Martial arts (mysticism/devotion to sensei) (Elvis Fu)
* Superstitions (robotboy)
* Unitarianism/Universalism (Sketch, PopTodd)
* Yoga (Katie)
* Other non-Christian religion or cults (most of you)
* Occult or violent video and computer games, movies, TV show, music, books, magazines or comics. (Guys, I'd better shut this place down)

You're also encouraged to look out for "Fear of Authority" (I'm looking at you, chase).

Dammit I guess I'm going to have to stop playing Ouija Dungeons and Dragons while doing Yoga...man that was my favorite hobby.

There could be Occult activity in your family that can be as far back as four generations. This gives demons legal ground to harass.

Yet another example of how our legal system is failing us. Goddamn activist judges!

Well, you caught me. I astral project like a sonofabitch. Unfortunately, the wife gets jealous of all the exotic locales I'm able to experience while she sleeps earthbound, so we have an understanding that I can only project myself around the immediate neighborhood. Subsequently, I may not have travelled great distances, but I have been privy to some pretty amazing cat behavior in the back alley.

I once had to work a radio sponsor table for a Bob Larson rally.

Wanted to invoke demons to take out the whole place, but decided that would be a bit mean.

I grew up with some people who think there's a demon of EVERYTHING. Not just avarice and lust and murder, but of tiny things. So like, you're not just a jerk, you've got, like, a DEMON convincing you to be a jerk.

It's a convienent way to remove personal responsibility for all actions, to explain baffling complexities of personality and put them into spiritual boxes and to condemn behavior that can't be fixed quickly.

Got pretty pissed though when one pastor suggested my schizophrenic brother may have been possessed when he died. Yeah, that kinda pissed me off a bit.

Still, if anything on that list gets me to meet Holly Marie Combs or Alyssa Milano, Charisma Carpenter, maybe, sure, why not.

You don't realize how close you are. I don't cut myself, but I do obsessively pick my cuticles and hangnails, often causing the areas around my fingernails to bleed.

I disagree with the music thing. I mean, if you listen to Christian music like Stryper, or Deliverance, or Barren Cross, how could that possibly allow demons to enter you? I mean, look at these guys.

There's nothing demonic about those good christian soldiers!

* Ouija Board (spoet)

My friends and I went through a big Ouija Board phase in middle school. My house was the choice location as I lived next to a cemetery at the time. One such Ouija Board occasion left one of my friends in tears when it told her she was going to be kidnapped within the following six months. She was never kidnapped, but we were followed by a van. In the cemetery.

Do do do do do do do do do do do do do...
