Mike, I share your sentiments whole-heartedly. And Bobby Engram needn't worry - there are plenty of others to share the blame - I think that receiving corps (at least those that played regularly, Koren Robinson), dropped more passes over the course of the season than any history. Factor in the defense's uncanny ability to give up 1st downs in 3rd and a country mile situations and the whole team's historic meltdowns against the Rams and Cowboys that put them in the wild card game to begin with and you had a recipe for yet another disappointing year. It will be interesting to see what happens with this team - I can't see Holmgren getting another shot and with all the free agents they have, they might just blow the whole team up and start over.
Yeah, the Seattle D just could not get them off the field on 3rd down. And they gave up another 4th quarter lead (granted, only a 3pt lead this time). Too many dropped passes as well. Hasselbeck actually played a very good game, and his receivers let him down again. So frustrating.
I have a hunch that Holmgren will be back next season. I can't say that for Sean Alexander, though. It should be an interesting off season.
