Didn't see much of that game.

Chargers straight blew it. That was like which mistake is gonna be the fatal one? Both teams made huge mistakes that could've cost them the game.

Antonio Gates is amazing for a second year guy with zero college football, the NFL has to be the easiest pro sport to pick up if the natural athletisim is there. I couldn't see a guy walk in off the street & hit MLB pitching, stickhandle in the NHL or drive the lane in the NBA. Certainly not well enough to be an all-star.

I feel for ya, Mike. Bobby Engram will take that drop with him to the grave. What does Holmgren have against Jerry Rice???

Mike, I share your sentiments whole-heartedly. And Bobby Engram needn't worry - there are plenty of others to share the blame - I think that receiving corps (at least those that played regularly, Koren Robinson), dropped more passes over the course of the season than any history. Factor in the defense's uncanny ability to give up 1st downs in 3rd and a country mile situations and the whole team's historic meltdowns against the Rams and Cowboys that put them in the wild card game to begin with and you had a recipe for yet another disappointing year. It will be interesting to see what happens with this team - I can't see Holmgren getting another shot and with all the free agents they have, they might just blow the whole team up and start over.

ps. On a sour grapes note, Mike Martz is a jack-ass. How that guy is coaching in the NFL instead of bagging my groceries is a mystery.

A local tv/radio guy here in LA was saying Holmgren should be fired since anyone who loses to Martz 3 times in 1 season shouldn't be coaching in the NFL. I was rolling on the ground. I hope Shanahan gets fired, the 49ers need him.

Forget the Seahalks. Fuck the Packers.

I'm pissed beyond belief.

Only two visiting quarterbacks to defeat the Packers in the playoffs in Green Bay: Vick and Culpepper.

I want Rush Limbaugh's expert analysis, STAT.

Yeah, the Seattle D just could not get them off the field on 3rd down. And they gave up another 4th quarter lead (granted, only a 3pt lead this time). Too many dropped passes as well. Hasselbeck actually played a very good game, and his receivers let him down again. So frustrating.

I have a hunch that Holmgren will be back next season. I can't say that for Sean Alexander, though. It should be an interesting off season.
