Ah youre right my fault, lets try this - go fuck yourself. Hopefully that was both unprojected and grammatically simple enough to have gotten its message across.

If not let me know, and I can try again. And dont worry, I wont be driven away.

Wow, such a witty riposte.

You really are an arbiter of taste around here, and also bring so much to the discussion. You and Bee should join form a fine alliance of people who's entire addition to the discussion is to lament the fact that we don't discuss music, and then never discuss music yourselves.

Please, please killfile me, you mark ass buster.

Sherlock?

Pretty clear that "words" won't drive anyone away here.

I miss FnB because he could actually write and was articulate about his (often quirky) tastes in music.

I don't read Obner nearly as much as the old CMJ, there used to be a lot more conversation about new music, and a lot more "new voices" coming in, but I do like the political stuff because I get to pontificate in particularly satisfying ways. There is a southern cracker jock vibe here, but if you put on your anthropologist's lens, that can be interesting in itself. Wish there were more bitter goth girls posting to balance the married-cousins circle jerking.

Still Loogar is one of the few posters who has a distinct voice... helps with richness of the cyber-environment. Part of the residue of possibility left over from what the "Internet" posed in the early 90's are these random connections of disparate personalities talking about things of mutual interest. Opportunities to reframe identity by measuring Lifeworld against the Other. Intersubjective inquiry. California negotiating mutual existence with Crackerville.

I think California has so much wisdom that it should form it's own country. Drop all that dead weight ya know?

We'd still have to negotiate mutual existence. Deal with all those undocumented immigrants from back east.

And if California slides into the ocean, like the mystics and statistics say it will…I predict this motel will be standing, until I pay my bill.

That's it! See how much we have to learn from each other!

What a minute... there is dryback from Massachusetts walking by my camper right now... BLAM! Fucking baked bean-eater... he was trying to eat my vegan-hemp organic muffins.

I must have been on tour the first time this thread came around.

I still haven't heard that S-K album, but I didn't dig the couple tunes I heard.

I think I just have a problem with music made by people who sound like they can't play. To me, S-K sound like a slightly more talented version of The Shaggs.

As far as Tony, I only met him once at Portillo's and he's a good guy. He's just more focused than me, that's all.

I mean, if I was a chick, I wouldn't date him or nothing, but if I had a sister, I wouldn't feel compelled to kick his ass for sticking his dick in her either.

Plenty of people here come off different on the board vs. real life. The internet is not a good place to judge whether or not you like somebody, especially based on something as subjective as taste in music.
