okay, even i feel sorry for you on this one.
weasel away, buddy.
this is going to be death.
Agreed. Dave, do you HAVE to go? I mean, is this some sort of test or requirement before the official nuptials? If I've learned one thing in my married life-- don't force your husband to go to places that are otherwise horrid, regardless of current situation/environment. This not only applies to "wedding fairs" but also to: Michael's craft store, Nordstrom, the mall, piano bars and Duran Duran concerts.
There are ways to be involved in the wedding planning without having to go through nightmare exhibitions like this.
You get in this conundrum, wherein, even if you don't like what you are doing, since you don't see each other all damn week, you kinda just have to grin and bare it, just to spend time together.
Good thing is, I can probably get my mom on the side of NOT going, and then we can do something a little more conducive to me getting drunk
It's one of those things where, even though I don't really care what they pick out, etc...we stil play out this little farce that they want my opinions. It's kinda sweet, in a weird way. But, it's in B'ham, and 3 round trips to that piece in 4 days just ain't in the cards.
