ok that last one is a maybe, but you know what i mean. when i was a kid i eagerly anticipated these like they were gonna be the rebirth of rap music altogether, albums where one producer that i liked got his entire posse together and made a mediocre album. any others that you remember as being amazing?

One of my favorites was Prince Paul's "A prince among Thieves"...I thought it was such an original idea when I first heard it....An album that plays like a movie and has all these top notch guest appearances..From De La to Everlast to Sadat X...That there is some good stuff....

yeah, i feel like the idea was such a good one that it CAN'T be repeated without it looking like an obvious bite job. i'd love for Shadow to do the kind of thing that he did on Unkle but he doesn't appear to be headed that way.
