yeeeeeeeeeeeee....much of the lineup is up on www.lollapalooza.com- BJM, Arcade Fire, Weezer, The Warlocks. Those are just some that I would love to see (BJM, The Warlocks and Dandy Warhols all in the same place gives me goosebumps)

Tickets are on sale now for a 2 day pass it's 85 bucks! And that's going to be going up in price over the next few weeks.

I called josh at home and he said he'll get them now. Plus this is practically in our backyard.

We can always have people over who come in out of town for entertaining.

Remember how awesome Lollapolooza was last year when they cancelled most of the tour because no one bought tickets because they only had a bunch of indie bands on the roster? I do. REALLY awesome.

Given the date, I am doubtful to make this a full on ATL assault on Chicago. We shall see. It'll be a month out from this election, and given that I need some fridays off in May and June.....I need to get a real job.

I would be most disappointed if this were to be cancelled. I hope you Chicago people are supporting this!

M83 impressed the fuck out of me last night. Though, a lot of their songs sounded the same live. I'm not that familiar with their catalog, so maybe that was the problem.

I already got a two day pass! After the surchage deal and the shipping cost it was $101, which is pretty damn expensive, but f it, if this shit turns out to be what it's listed as this will be a good time.

I'm seriously thinking about going to this -- any recommendations of where to stay that isn't terribly far?

Tania and everyone else,

There is a Best Western along Michigan Avenue that is about three or so blocks away from Grant Park, it's also right behind where josh and I live.

And it's inexpensive and when all the wilco fans came in from out of town last october for their shows they all stayed there.

Recommended.

And there's still around 25-30 more acts to come. Quality.
