So far this afternoon:

Head of Femur - Hysterical Stars
Gang Gang Dance - God's Money

Next up in the changer progression:

Caribou - Yeti EP
Akron/Family - Akron/Family
Animal Collective w/Vashti Bunyan - Prospect Hummer
Autechre - Untilted

It's an all new music afternoon for me as the wife's occupied looking at recipes to cook with a friend that's visiting.

i know, i own the movie and have seen it at least 50 times. But Casino and Goodfellas, edited or not, always merit a stop on the flip.

and it inspired a np:

np:Harry Nilsson - Nilsson Schmilsson

"Without You" is the theme to so much slow-motion mongering that it makes me want to vomit, but not unlike an edited version of Casino, I still can't stop myself........

Autechre - Untilted

I'm loving this much more than I thought I would. I found myself quite bored with the last couple of albums but this one keeps beckoning me back. I love the fragments of actual melody that pops through, or, like on "Augmatic Disport" how it slowly shifts from chaos to this very steady, kind-of dorky and cheap sounding beat.
