They did just review one of my releases, after all!

Read it here:

Congratulations.
That's cool.

Nice!
That review makes the disc sound very interesting.

Do you run the label?

Edit: I really hate it when only "clips" are available. Can't they just make one or 2 whole songs available? I will never listen to a clip more than once, and therefor it will never get the chance to grow on me.

Yeah, I run the label. It's an expensive and time-consuming hobby as of now, but I just hope to consistently put out good stuff.

Thanks for the kind words, guys.

Dig it. This sounds like something I would buy.

In regards to any ties to Absolutely Kosher: I actually released the Frog Eyes LP before they did anything with AK, but my Bottom of the Hudson release is bookended by the band's releases on Absolutely Kosher. Confusing. But in short, Cory Brown from AK is a good friend and an awesome guy, but our labels have nothing to do with each other.

It's pretty fucking insane to read your name in a messageboard post that has absolutely nothing to do with you. Not as cool as catching my name in the obits last week though.

I will let others attest to my awesome quotient, however.

That's cool. That sound clip interests me further. By the way, Omaha Ray was my album of the year. I remember some interesting story behind it being made, but since forgot the details.

Bort, I've never put out a 7", but some of the bands on my roster have stuff with other labels.
