List some pros and cons towards username changes. Permanent name changes, not the occasional spin, a la Frosty's.


I've been alongdrive for a few years now but it's kind of lame, it's not even my favorite Modest Mouse album, and they're not even my favorite group.

My next two choices are 'an eligible toaster.' and 'wormwood'.

Anyway, pros and cons. Go.

i don't really care enough to change my username.

i find it pretty annoying though because then i don't know who anyone is.

If it'll make you feel better, do it. Just let us know who you are when you do.

...but keep the avatar stable during the switch.

i've been meaning to do this too, now that every one of you is superparanoid about getting found out at work i don't know how my real name will fare

I hate my real name just because it's not too common and it's always either mistaken for Harvey or there's some crack about "were your parents hippies?"


Anyway, yeah, I guess I'll go with the name change.
