I wish I could do it too but 1) I don't own an iPod and 2) I can't really listen to music at work, most of the time.

I bet you have some MOJO on there, huh, Ryan? Or is it MOTO?

The thing that sucks about that is when you put it on shuffle, all the songs are at different volumes and you have to adjust all the mp3's for the cd's to be louder or quieter.

(and that automatic song volume adjustment thing in iTunes does not work. It just takes 20 times longer to add folders to the library.)

with this new found world, i wonder if I should buy another dock so I don't have to worry about it losing it's charge.

mine's on shuffle, and I haven't really run into a problem with the volume thing. i mean, they aren't all at the exact same level, but it's not a huge difference

You don't have this problem with older cd's? I have this problem with most things from the early 90's late 80's like Violent Femmes, INXS and U2. Those older discs are all quiet.

I bought a second charger for work and use it all the time, but I have a 3G which is what you have I believe so hooking it up to the computer doesn't charge it. It's my only option in the event that I forgot to charge it at home the night before. (I also have an extra phone charger at work for the same reason.)

Laptops are notoriously skimpy on powered ports. Ran into this a lot with PCMCIA slots as a wireless tech... damn things wouldn't run some cards. All in the name of saving battery power.
