As usual I'm too lazy to look for new releases, but I do have to go to the North side of Atlanta which might merit a stop by Criminal on the way home.

Spoon - Gimme Fiction is the only new release I am planning to buy today. I also am looking to buy a King Crimson boxset and some Phish albums.

They just don't have that DMB commitment to quality we've come to rely on.

I'll pick up Spoon and possibly Weezer (only because all of my friends are obsessed with them and I'll never hear the end of it if I don't. And, no, I'm not in high school). I probably won't get them today though. After tomorrow I will have dropped about $650 on my Hyundai (don't EVER buy one, the warrenty is a scam!) right after paying for a graduation gift for my sister, a mother's day present and birthday present for my brother. I'm depressing myself, time to check out another thread.

i might buy the life aquatic, but more because it's a cheap criterion edition than out of love for the movie.

Have your friends make you a copy of the Weezer album to see if you like it. It'll get you out of having to buy something you might not like.

Weezer's Blue Album also came out on May 10, but in 1994.

Hoop Dreams Criterion comes out today as well, and I'll be picking that up along with The Life Aquatic.

bought spoon's "gimme fiction" a couple days ago thru merge. a bonus disc is cool, but if i knew emusic would sport that album today, i woulda done emusic instead to make $room$ for other purchase(s).

my emusic refresh happens on the 12th. might buy the new eels or electrelane. haven't decided.

I'm actually not a hater, but I listened to this on VH1 and thought it was tremendously boring. I'll be curious to see what you think of it after you buy it. I even like his solo album, but can't get into the band-related studio albums post-Before These Crowded Streets.

So you are now on a first name basis with all the working women of Cincinnati?
