Yeah, I know that this has been dragging on forever. Sorry about that. I only just got around to making it, and I only have a cassette to do it on. So I'm sorry that there are none available to y'all.

I think I'll make it a gift to my neurologist.

SIDE A:
You Done My Brain In - Bonzo Dog Band
Aht Uh Mi Hed - Shuggie Otis
The Kid With the Replaceable Head - Richard Hell
Mine Mine Mind - Roky Erickson
Where Is My Mind? - Pixies
Gardenhead - Jeff Mangum
Dirty Mind - Prince
Hospital Food - eels
Brain Damaged - Post Office
Windmills Of Your Mind - Dusty Springfield
Popskull - Meat Puppets
You're Still On My Mind - The Byrds
A Nervous Tic Motion Of the Head to the Left - Andrew Bird
This Ain't No Picnin - Minutemen

SIDE B:
My Bucket's Got A Hole In It - Hank Williams
Outta Mind (Outta Sight) - Wilco
Zoloft - Ween
Halo - SOiL (A "halo" is the metal ring they screwed into my head to keep it still during surgery. You can still see the dots on my forhead - ed.)
Put Your Hand Inside the Puppet Head - They Might Be Giants
Presence Of a Brain - Parliment
You Must Be Out Of My Mind - Cleaners From Venus
Skull - Sebadoh
Nutted By Reality - Nick Lowe
Head On - Pixies
Badhead - Blur
They Glued Your Head On Upside Down - Bellrays
In Someone Else's Mind - Soundtrack Of Our Lives
On Returning - Wire
I Just Want To Celebrate - Rare Earth

So... whaddya think?
(And thanks for your suggestions. I tried to work them i nwhere possible.)

Hey Todd,

Real nice work with the exception of head on....you're pissing me off with that one. Jesus and Mary Chain's version is so much better. If pixie's version was an original, I'd just not really like it much. It really bugs me off though to know what they did to that great JMC song in the same way it bugs me when actors I like are involved in a bad remake of a classic movie...

np: cmj sampler #124 - I'm really behind in these

While I like the Pixies' version, I WOULD have put on the JMC version, if I actually owned a copy. But I don't.

Thanks for the props, though.

I like the Pixies version, but heard it before I ever heard of JAMC (I was barely 17 when Trompe Le Monde was released)
