Teenage Fanclub 'Man Made'

Damn you, European release dates!

Waiting on the Spoon from Merge...probably getting Aquatic and Weezer from Best Buy @ Lunch, and I'll try not to buy anything else (although Alone In The Dark sounds amazingly bad, I'll wait for Netflixed Tara-Reid-as-smartest-Scientist-in-the-world action)......

It is amazingly bad but it's not really even funny bad which was disappointing. I thought I would get a kick out of the horribleness like I do a lot of poorly made sci-fi movies but this one didn't do it for me.

I'm actually not a hater, but I listened to this on VH1 and thought it was tremendously boring. I'll be curious to see what you think of it after you buy it. I even like his solo album, but can't get into the band-related studio albums post-Before These Crowded Streets.

this isnt a bad album/not the best. i didnt get into the streaming album....maybe it was the quality or just not being able to listen to it begining to end....

That one looks amazing too - good thing it's not on DVD, or else I'd have to pick up both of them today...

it's not all that amazing, but Martin Landau is the creepiest motherfucker ever in that flick. Not to mention the fact that you got Donald Pleasance and Jack Palance running around with him, terrifying Howlin' Mad Murdock and his family...priceless.

i always mix this movie up with Wait Until Dark, which is a grade A flick all the way.

I picked up used copies of the recent Out Hud album, Jawbreaker's 24 Hour Revenge Therapy (to replace a burned copy), and some live thing from The New Race (ex-Radio Birdman) - all for under $20. Not too shabby.

Morcheeba (maybe)

don't. imo, i don't think the antidote is that good. morcheeba is not morcheeba without skye edwards. the new chick daisy, her voice is good- but it just doesn't appeal to me. it's so far off from big calm.

not picking up anything this week, gonna wait til next paycheck. i picked up of montreal & the raveonettes last week.
