Our gorgeous day from yesterday turned into nasty weather today.

Of course it stasrted with being woken up by my ex husband calling at 6:40 am to forewarn of us the severe storm about to hit our way. It did fifteen minutes later. Turned pitch black and thunder was nasty enough it felt like our place shook. Rain and thunder has let up a little but it's still super dark out and supposedly we're going to have storms all day. Yippee! My poor son was scared and lay quivering under his blankets fighting the idea of having to get up and go to school.

It's so very pretty here today. We're in the middle of the two week stretch of beautiful weather before the black flies come out.

Nice day today here as well. Don't know about the black flies but we've got about 2 weeks or so and we'll start hitting the 90's. Add some humidity and it's HELLLLOOOO Summer!


On the bright side:

The 90's + being at the lake = heaven

I was riding around in my car with the windows down bumpin' Brand Nubian's Drop The Bomb most of the day today.
