This is what I have so far. I need two more songs for this mix to be complete. Looking at the songs I have on here so far, what other songs would you recommend? I need well-known songs.

01. THE FLYING LIZARDS – Money (That’s What I Want)
02. ROMEO VOID – Never Say Never
03. SOUNDGARDEN – Jesus Christ Pose
04. THE PET SHOP BOYS – It’s A Sin
05. EDWYN COLLINS – A Girl Like You
06. CORROSION OF CONFORMITY – Clean My Wounds
07. NEW ORDER – True Faith
08. MIDNIGHT OIL – Beds Are Burning
09. STEREO MCS – Connected
10. TALKING HEADS – Psycho Killer
11. TALK TALK – It’s My Life
12. THE FOLK IMPLOSION – Natural One
13. BERLIN – The Metro
14.
15. CONCRETE BLONDE – Joey
16.
17. T. A. T. U. – All The Things She Said
18. LOVE SPIT LOVE – How Soon Is Now?

It seems that Captain and Tenille's "Muskrat Love" would fit nicely.

seems like you need something from The Cure "Killing An Arab," or "Love Cats." and you need "Da Da Da" by Trio.

Young Americans, Rebel Rebel or Sufragette City - David Bowie
Planet Claire or Private Idaho - B-52's
Pretty in Pink - Psychedelic Furs

and the Cure recommendations would all seem to fit.

I think Mojo has a crush on you. He only posts in your threads.

I think these might fit:

Missing Persons "Walking in L.A."
Love and Rockets "So Alive"

I said it once before, when you originally posted this thread, "Stop it."

You might as well throw Sly Fox on there, it's on a par with the rest of it.

Red Guitars, "Good Technology"

Maybe that 88 lines about 44 women song? The Nails, I think?

Let me know if I'm in the ballpark. That's what they made me think of.

I like the choice of "Da Da Da" by Trio.

The The, perhaps something off of Infected or Soul Mining?

I agree with Billy above on the Psych Furs - but I would go with The Ghost In You.

Also throw in some Echo and the Bunnymen

And now for some reason I have The Fixx' "Less Cities, More Moving People" stuck in my head.

If I learned that OPA! owned this song, I'd have new-found respect for him. Then I'd kill him for tarnishing it putting it on this mix.

This was in my Listmania 2 somewhere.

Actually looks like a really cool mix.

The danger of putting "Girls & Boys" on any compilation is that it renders the rest of the compilation moot. But this one actually looks like it has a chance of surviving. Some absolutely killer tunes on it.

I'm also glad that you took Tatu and Love Spit Love off. Not that they're bad tunes, I just don't think they fit.

Although, I wish you'd left the Berlin on.

The Romeo Void song is the best one there.

The Flying Lizards is awful for a mix, not because the song is so bad, but it's something that you can only listen to ever so often. Play this mix more than twice, and you'll be skipping that track--guaranteed. Ditto the Trio track.

Congratulations, you managed to select what might be the weakest Replacements song ever. Ditto Midnight Oil.

All in all, not that horrendous, I score it a 5.3.
