I am currently sitting in my office..no shoes on, feet on desk, on the phone trying to sort out a fundraiser with Mr. Henry Aaron (unfortunately not on the phone with HIM, but his peeps) and downloading a mix from Dalen.

I have a MASSIVE hangover. (Not to self, cracking a bottle of wine after 3 double bourbons and 5 beers is not a good idea) so tonite I will probably hit happy hour again, and then try to lay low.

Tomorrow: Wedding of a former co-worker. Such people as Rick Derris and the former Governor of this fine state will be in attendance. I plan to monger quite hard. I already have secured a sound proof suite on the top floor of the Montgomery Hilton.

Sunday: Depending on the hangover, I may drive to my dad's for dinner or just bring it on back to Mobile.

This could shape up to be the worst weekend of my life. I have to move most of my stuff to storage tomorrow then figure out how the hell to get the rest of it (all my clothes, 2 guitars & a banjo, amp, a plant) uptown to put in a boston-bound uhaul. Then I hop a greyhound and head to boston, where i hole up and spend as little money as possible, because i'll almost definitely run out before my first check comes.

tonight: dinner at my sis's, probably hit the bar despite crushing hangover that will most likely still be effect by the time i go out.

tomorrow: i'm debating on whether or not to throw a party at my grandmother's, who i am housesitting for. she keeps telling me to do this, and there is a world class booze supply to consider, but her stuff is so much nicer than mine i'm apprehensive.

sunday: sleep. seriously, all fucking day. i plan on staying in bed until the TV starts at 8, eating all my meals there and Ong Baking the fuck out.

GREYHOUND!! I am truly sorry. You can't take the train?

Oh, and you could always do what I do haq: Spend money as if you have it.

Tonight I'm seeing the fucking Shins for the 4,235,679th time because my wife loves them, so count on me being drunk for that.

Tomorrow up Mount Si & then over to some friends for dinner

Sunday gardening & shit all day.

Tonite: going to see my buddies band Dirty Rig at the Continental (www.dirtyrig.com) , with a pre-party at my house since I'm two blocks away.

Saturday: heading off to New Jersey for my cousins wedding. looking forward to that.

Sunday: back from Jersey then off to Cetral Park to root on my team in softball. I will not be playing as my knees are still fucked up.

I'm strongly considering the "spend it like you have it" angle, GAR, but I need to figure out how to get it liquid first (i.e. i have plenty of credit but i'm not about to cash advance all over the place).

the greyhound shouldn't be too bad. it's a 4-hour straight shot, and way cheaper than the train.

EDIT: and i'm subleasing, so unfortunately mlle cannot have my totally awesome room in sunset park.

I honestly thought it was Thursday. That means I'm going to have a different dinner than I expected because I have 'dinner days' Thursday - Chicken, Friday - Fish.

Tonight I go to my foster sister's Grease play, and dinner with my parents. That'll probably induce suicide, so I'm not planning too much after that.

If I am still living on Sunday, I'll travel to Baton Rouge for my wife's cousin's high school graduation. So if the grease play doesn't lead to suicde this will because I hate graduation ceremonies.

Hell, even Burger King takes credit Haq ;)
I had to take a bus from Boston to Portsmouth, NH once, and being a monster and all, it was quite uncomfortable. Trains have bars, as well

Konsty -- I openly had to look at my calendar and make sure it really was friday after your post..hehe..fucking drunks.

Goin' to see Gang of Four/Radio 4 tonight.

Tomorrow is the wedding of a a co-worker I went to college and worked on the college paper with, so the event will double as a reunion with people I haven't seen in ages. Lodging @ the hotel where the reception is, so much recklessness will ensue. If I weren't already in the wheelchair, I'd damn sure need one by the end of Sat night.

Sunday - breakfast w/ some of the college folks from the wedding; come back to Flint; chill the fuck out and watch some basketball

Dude I always forget you live in Flint...do you hang with MC Breed or the DFC or Dayton Fam?

Last anyone knew, MC Breed was locked up. But that was like a year ago when we last heard from him. He could be out by now.

I actually talk to Matt H from Dayton Family w/ some regularity. He's way plugged in to what's going on w/ the rap scene here and helps us know what/who to look out for.

BTW, D - I finally responded to the PM you sent me like a month ago. I'm terrible about checking those things. Just in case you hadn't seen it yet.

Tonight: Drink local beer (Kokanee Gold and Western Wheat) and explore a bit. Possibly meet my wife's co-workers for drinks after she's done work. I'm interested in actually meeting and conversing with some Western Canadians.

Saturday: Continue unpacking and chucking things out. More drinking of local flavours. Probably write a bit to keep fresh. Do some reading and then watch some movies, possibly 'Ray' and 'The Motorcycle Diaries'.

Tonight: Not too much considering I have my weekly mild Friday hangover. Gonna monger on the couch with my lady and watch a flick. We talked about making some soup (perfect mongering food!) and pouring it on us, but we'll see.

Sat: Probably gonna enjoy the rainy, 50 degree weather we're gonna have tomorrow by putting a bullet in my brain (I mean c'mon already. IT"S FUCKING MAY GODDAMN IT!!!). Not sure really, probably hang out at the house during the day and go get a few drinks at night. Maybe some drunk nasty sex afterwards (whiskey dick be damned!).

Sun: Take the mongering to defcon 5! Family Guy.

I saw that Chad, thx. I need to respond.

That is tight as shit you talk to Dayton Fam. "Smoke for Free" was a big head nodder back in the day.

Breed moved to ATL for a while in the 90s "No Future in Yo Frontin" still pops up in my rap mixes sometimes, and I always thought DFC's album was pretty tight, but i think I was the only one.

WOW! Busty launching nukes these days. I actually ate Oyster Soup FOR BREAKFAST THIS MORNING!! You might try, but you CANNOT OUTMONGER THE MASTER.

Yeah, Busty I feel ya on the weather. it is already in the high 80s here, and I openly turned down a campaign in Minnesota yesterday. (St. Paul? Eat a Dick!)
