I'm strongly considering the "spend it like you have it" angle, GAR, but I need to figure out how to get it liquid first (i.e. i have plenty of credit but i'm not about to cash advance all over the place).

the greyhound shouldn't be too bad. it's a 4-hour straight shot, and way cheaper than the train.

EDIT: and i'm subleasing, so unfortunately mlle cannot have my totally awesome room in sunset park.

greyhound is totally fine. I took it last weekend, did it all the time in college

I had to take a bus from Boston to Portsmouth, NH once, and being a monster and all, it was quite uncomfortable. Trains have bars, as well

dude, that is like 45 minutes! It's nothing

and Haq, you can come visit us. Come to the Museum of FIne Arts.

I work in one of the offices, so I am hidden. But you could also just come out for drinks or something, we're good for at least a few free beers.

I am going to recover from a wild weekend in NY and a really really busy work week. Getting a massage at 5:30....I am definitely fighting some sort of cold off so I'll be avoiding alcohol, at least until tomorrow when I got to a "margarita bridal shower" (not for me)

i'm still burnt out from being out of town the past 2 weekends, so i don't know. but there's a lot going on.

tonight: either stay home, do laundry, clean & catch up on crap i need to take care of. or i might end up going to a techno party tonight and dance all fuckin night.

tomorrow: i guess you can call it a "date." possibly we might hit up a drum n' bass party where adam f & blame & my friend is spinning at, and then a housewarming party after. if no d&b, movie + housewarming party. depends what we feel like doing.

sunday: mia/lcd soundsystem. that is, if my friend ever gets back to me about the list. cuz it's sold out. boo.

Tonight: Packing my field equipment. Driving to Abilene, Texas. Sleeping, probably, in my sleeping bag in a parking lot.

Tomorrow: Wake early. Get the best breakfast tacos on the face of the earth. Meet up with field biology class. Drive to New Mexico, stopping to observe biology along the way.

Sunday: Commence with the field biological fun.

Tonight: Going to a pre-graduation party for some friends that are graduating from law school this weekend. Chance for debauchery is high.

Tomorrow: Drive to Montgomery, AL, meet up with Loogar for a wedding for a friend of ours. Chance for debauchery is through the fucking roof.

Sunday: open death and soup pouring

This is one of those local "wedding" weekends when all the far flung members of the tribe show up in town. I am naturally the gracious host. Ok. Let's rumble.

Tonight: Finish housework, I've arranged to get everybody from the wedding party into the little club down here (where I do Bingo) for free; so you know drinking, loud music, etc. My GF is also involved in some sort of bachelorette party (dif. wedding) at the same time/same place which should amp it up a notch or eight.

Saturday: Do some yard work in the AM if all is well in my brain. Wedding is at 3:00. Afterparty is at the grooms parents massive spread. I've been promised a massive throwdown. We'll see.

Sunday: I'll probably be forced to cure my hangover by working in the yard since the race is on Sat. night :( . Mongering, watching the season finale of Survivor.

All of this will be completely fucked by the cast of characters who will be roaming in and out of Redlands all wknd. I will accomplish nothing......

Wife's birthday on Saturday, so I'm an indentured servant for the weekend. Happily, natch.

It's graduation weekend, so I'm going back to Rough Raleigh to drink drank drunk all weekend long. Sunday I will drive back and hopefully watch Hoop Dreams or Life Aquatic or both, in addition to my regular Sunday programming.

Dri, I'll be at that houseparty. I've yet to make it VoodooBilly's pad and am stoked about seeing the OG Rockstar Crew! :)

Friday: Shopping at Trader Joe's; then to mall to find the perfect black bra; make mixes for Road to Scotland trip.
Saturday: Girly stuff -- hair, nails, feet, waxing; houseparty at friend's pad
Sunday: Start packing for trip; more mixes; breakfast with mom; laundry; going to The Troubadour to see The Colour and The Adored.
