Instead, I've just found about 20 sets of photos from back in my ...erm..."raver" days. Noooo, I didn't dress up like a candykid or any such shit. These are some funny ass photos!

I'm supposed to be doing laundry, making CD mixes and getting my shit ready for my trip. Look at me...I'm fuckin' around instead.

Ohhh, and btw, why do my people feel it necessary to make what was a crap ass song in English an even worse one in Spanish? I'm talking about "Achy Breaky Heart". Gawwwd, what a horrid song!! My neighbours are having a party and I'm being subjected to their DJ who has poor taste in music.

I'm sure I'll think of other things to ramble about. Feel free to add your own rambles.

Noooo, I can't! It's just that the neighbour's music is right next to my living room, which is where I'm gathering all my trip stuff. I suppose I could sort laundry.

Reggaeton? Who the fuck thought of THAT kinda music? Christ! STOP ALREADY!

Ha! A lot of my people's young generation (I like saying "my people"...at least, tonight I do) love reggaeton. Just think of reggae mixed with hip hop -- gotta have a mandatory high-pitched chick or chicks with annoying voices singing along with main lead singer rapper guy. Whatever. It's awful.

Kill the dj, kill the dj....

Oh wait...(listening), it's CUMBIA TIME!! 1-2-3...1-2-3...1-2-3...those are your basic steps to dancing cumbia. Shall we try again? 1-2-3...1-2-3...kick, turn around...1-2-3...you got it.

I'm at this mostly latino school and what those kids call reggae and reggaeton, has nothing to do with reggae as i know it.

any explanations?

I'm trying, but damn if they aren't stubborn.

The ones who are expressing any interest are progressing really well though.

I've a question -- if my shorts are too big on me, why does the zipper keep sliding down on its own?

Oh crap, more reggaeton.

Magically sliding zippers are the bane of my existence.

Okay, if your fly is down in public is it better to do it up right away and draw attention to it, or to try and obscure it and find a toilet?

I dunno, maybe at first listen, it's okay. But, every single song I've heard since the first time ALL sound the same.

And, Leo, I would if I had the photos scanned or if I had been wise and transferred to a CD. Sorry, you'll have to come over and see 'em in person. :)

I have a lot of black panties but only a few black bras. Shouldn't I be a bit more colour-matched?

How many mixes are you bringing on the trip? I always opt for the 'better to have 1200 cds with you, in case you're in the mood for whatever'. Of course, I'm a moron and usually end up playing one or two cds and waste all the effort.

You can just go braless instead of having to match colours

See, Charlie, that's why you and I get along...cuz I tend to do the same. I think I'm taking about 50-60 CDs with me.

And, Pilates, me being braless is NOT a good idea.

Ooooh, ooh, nice music change at the neighbour's ... roc en español!! They're playing La Ley (Chilean band) who I absolutely love! Why didn't they switch to this earlier?

Yeah, I'm always prepared. You should have seen my front seat, a bloody mess of cds, cigarette packs, Diet Pepsi, and about 20 packs of Xtra gum. I actually think I had about that amount too, about 50 cds or so. Weird. No Pilates though....By the way, is the moratorium on booze over yet?!
