Excuse me if there is already a thread on this...

My friend and I just walked out of the theatre thinking what a good movie. I wasn't a fan of Ludacris' character, but whatever. It kept my attention from start to finish. Very nice cast too.

I didn't know that MI2 girl was so skinny! Real pretty face though.

Oh.

It sounds like a thriller.

No, it's one of those literate ensemble pieces where various peoples lives are vignetted and the storylines intersect. This one adds racism and intolerance. Two car crashes.

that was a thread I made for it when it came out. I wish I could tell you that people disussed the film in that one, since that's what you're probably looking for. However, it turned to silliness just like this one. :)

Oh well. I really didn't have a lot to discuss. I just wanted to mention that I enjoyed it.

Anything else worth watching at the theatres or new to DVD?

If you haven't seen "Primer" (on DVD) you should. That one stuck with me.

I saw "Palindromes," and while it wasn't bad, I don't recommend it.

If you want a movie with a car crash and intersected storylines, skip this crap, and rent Amores Perros starring Gael Garcia Bernal.

Check out Head On---it should be playing still in larger cities, and will likely be available on DVD within a month or 2.
