For me, it's gotta be from the movie ALIVE.

I can't remember if they actually showed the crash in Fearless.

Other than that, the only ones I can think of are Fight Club and from the first episode of Lost.

edit: Cast Away too.

You know, I've only seen the preview (for Alive), and I was going to suggest that after only seeing the title of this thread.

And the stupid thing is, I have the laserdisc, I've just never watched it.

Oo, oo, do helicopters count? What about the helicopter crash in Deep Blue Sea? What a great movie that one was.

Meh, train wrecks are much better on film. Show me anything other than the MFP Pursuit car blasting through the motor home during the opening chase of Mad Max that rivals the engine wreck half-way through The Train.

I think that the crash in Castaway was pretty damn scary and what I imagine it to possibly be like. It gets my #1 vote.

The last plane crash scene I remember was in The Aviator. Pretty fucked up.

There was a play in NY last year that was just reenactments of black box transcripts.

I hear it was life-fuckingly good

Five scary things about planes even when they're not crashing.

1. If your not careful you could easily get sucked into an engine
2. The constant spectre of deep vein thrombosis
3. On a bus you might have to sit next to a complete twat. On a plane you might have to sit next to FOUR complete twats.
4. Male flight attendants
5. What if those rabid monkeys in the cargo hold escape?

And...no, I kid you not, I loved that movie. Especially that scene with Samuel L. Jackson, that fogging rocked!

Renny Harlin's best movie besides Die Hard 2, which isn't saying much.

Alive and Cast Away are good mentions, but I was much more scared shitless by the one in Final Destination, which is a pretty lame movie but had 2 or 3 really good scares.

I liked Final Destination 2 much better than the first one only because the deaths were so much more hilarious.
