Hey Georgians, I will be coming home for a visit June 8-13. During my stay I will be taking my kid sister to the midtown festival, everything else is pretty touch and go.

Since I do not know too many people in town anymore, would anyone want to meet up for a drink or 8? If you are going to the midtown festival then you have no choice, I'll hunt you down.

PM me and I'll hook you up with a cell #

June 11 is AAAAAAh's wedding. I will be in town 6/9-6/12 but time will be tight.

I like drinking.

Haven't made up my mind yet on Midtown and am seriously thinking about it.

Regardless, I'm always up to have some beers.

I'll be down that weekend for said weddin'. I still can't believe I'm going to see the Senator in something approaching a ministerial role... it hurts the heart. This should be awesome.

I think "The Pony" = "The Pink Pony" right?

I would be down to meet people for drinks, but not at the above place. Nothing against it, just not my thing.

OH YEAH! I forgot I was gonna be down there too. Cool.

O well. Gonna miss the show shoe. That sucks. Haven't been in a LONG time. Not since Bloor and me went and he tipped girls while I ate free chips at the bar. Then we left 30 minutes later. Anyway...

Yeah, the shoe show. You know, them enterprising young ladies modelling the latest in footwear.

Yeah no pony for me, but I think drinks are in order. I am down for anywhere. Preferably not Buckhead or Midtown.

Well, Cotton, if you're down to hanging out at Philly's airport, my flight has a stopover there before I head to Glasgow. You can meet one of the west coast Obner crew. :)

Much as I wanna meet yall, if somebody said "buckhead" (and nobody here is dumb enough to do so thank sweet baby jebus) I'd be out. $15 to get in the door, $5 Coronas, fake boobs, fake tans, etc etc. That's what Panama City is for.

Cap'n, they have somewhat altered Buckhead since you were last here. Trying to be more "lounge." Of course, it does still suck.

Can one still witness NFL players getting in entourage-to-entourage scuffles? That was really the only attraction before. Well, that, and watching guys who make $40k a year renting bentleys and mercedes for a night to try and fool skanky girls into thinking they made $400k a year.

Both of whom you'll meet AFTER the Texas posters! Which reminds me...a bump is in order for a certain thread.
