I like to picture the good Senator driving a 1966 bug, his head ducked down to see out from under the rearview mirror, and one knee protruding from each of the rolled-down windows. It's not accurate, but it makes me chuckle.

I picture him as equal parts Grizzly Adams, John Cleese and Randall "Tex" Cobb.
