You're on thin ice. Don't make it worse.

OK, but saying it can fuck right off is a bit much. Why is it not for people like you? you seem like you'd be nice and billy there.

Yea, I've always thought Athens is pretty much like Chapel Hill, but at least 2x as big and the girls are hotter.

seriously, for the third time that's why i said that it was a nice town. i didn't realize that the school system was so lax on reading comprehension there. it reminded me of chapel hill, which i didn't like. i don't like some of the things that you like. this is not a revolutionary concept.

And the beer is colder and the drugs are cheaper and easier to come by. the bands play louder, the football team is better, the colors are more beautiful, and every college town in America envies it.

Just go easy on wishing my favorite town to "fuck off." Not being in love with it is ok... anyone can miss the forest for the trees. You started out a little stronger, then backed off it.

Now now now, we're not confirming all your bad conclusions for you... don't take the easy way out. Just try to imagine that you really, really like something. Start with that.

ok, took me a while but i found it:

Oakland is on Gar Travel's "Armpit of America" tour. You get to see scenic Newark, Detroit and Oakland...and if you spring for the big bucks we take you places like Tampa, Houston, and Cincinnatuh.
ok, misspelling and all i was able to discern that he probably meant my hometown. now for some reason i never got it together to do the ensuing shitstorm with timmy on his ass because it slowly dawned on me, after the tears of rage subsided and i could read again, that Cincinnati really does suck in a lot of very important ways, in particular if you are black and not a police officer. i gotta concede that in any discussion. i think that we've hit a similar situation here.

edit- except, you know, less violent death in athens and all.

Sorry Chase. Athens does that to people.

The guitar I played every week for 2.5 years at my last regular gig, for example...

[img][650:488]http://img289.echo.cx/img289/5336/teleplus3ad.jpg[/img]

I kept getting "what's that red line doing around your Green Bay sticker?"

We ain't mad atcha. Least I ain't. I'll defend that town, but not to the extent of becoming an idiot.
