REMEMBER BILLY?

This guy deserves a much larger bully pulpit than some S-grade strip mall bar, but he does his damn thing. I bet it is rare, even in our rareified hipster worlds to see an OBVIOUSLY drunk, possibly massively chemically altered dude, clad in a High-Wayan shirt, PBR visor, jeans and Cowboy boots prattle on about the various proclivities of people at the bar, whilst calling bingo numbers and swilling Vitamin V.

And, I mean, props to dude, because he wouldn't even set me up as the winner, and made an announcement that "A very special guest" had arrived upon my, uhm, arrival.

All in all a good time, and dude rocked such varied tunes/artists as Widespread and Rusted Root, Ike Reilly and The New York Dolls, Outkast and Jigga. If anyof y'all are in PTC, GA on a random Tuesday, I highly reccommend catching this act.

Glad you got to see that Gar. Wish I could've been there.

Not really.

So were you off work today or something?

I drank less than either of the other two perps and had to show my age by bailing early, but during the time I was there, and cognizant of my experience, our Bingo meister/MC was in full meistro mode. Reeling and belching his way through the smoky haze of suburban diversion.

Three thumbs up dude!

He hosts a bingo night at a local bar. He brings a P.A. and his iPod, and plays very good music for poeple to drink / bingo to. There's more to it than that, but you get the idea.

There's not much more to it than Sketch and Cap'n surmised except for the X-factor of Yail 's prowess behind the mic.

You know when dogs are interested in something their ears perk and they tilt their heads? Well, I was trying to find a picture like that for a response to this, but I failed. I failed, so my response is this lame 'imagine this' post. I am a failure today. A lazy failure. Even my breathe smells like failure. Failure and pickles.

Cap'n's favorites:

Graceland - Paul Simon
The Song Remains The Same -Led Zeppelin
Gimme Stitches - Foo Fighters
Another Travelin' Song - Bright Eyes

...though all are great choices. But those are the ones that would've made me look up and smile.
