I grew up with a Navy Football timeline poster right next to my bed. I don't really have any other teams I follow that well.

Cool.
Not a lot in the way of QBs, but if pressed, I'd have to go with Luckman.

You certainly can. Willie would've made the Top 5 (and believe you me, it was tough selection), but U.L. Washington never missed a game without his signature toothpick in mouth at shortstop, and Pete LaCock ... although a terribly mediocre closer, his name is golden and is used synonymously with 'Munson'.

Willie could steal a base & freebase like nobody's business. I think he's the old-school Ichiro. He could barely make contact with the ball (still holds the club record for least HR per AB), but what he lacked in strength, he made up for in speed. He'd make the top of the Bottom 5 list along with Daryl Motley, B. Saberhagen, K. Seitzer and Steve Balboni. Seriously, where are they now?

Saberhagen and Mark Gubicza (!) are High School Coaches in California I believe, because a few weeks ago they were on ESPN.com for coaching against each other.

P.S. What about Danny Tartabull?

2. Dr J
3. Allen Iverson
4. Charles Barkley
5. Mo Cheeks (for helping a little girl with the national anthem)

Nice call. I read that last week, too. Tartabull slagged off the Royals when he put on the pinstripes and I've not looked back since. Could make a case for Bo, Buddy Biancalana, a well-traveled Jim Sundberg or Luis Salazar, but I'd be reaching.

Why didn't Billy Ripkin make your list, Fu?

Also, W.W. was the first dude to ever be busted/suspended for BLOW in the major leagues.

And, he taught rookies how to fuck.
