Tonight: Leaving work and meeting my girl @ the house and taking off to Chicago. Probably arrive around 8:30-9pm. Apparently we're going to a gay sprots bar? Never been to one of these so it should be interesting. Girlfriend's best friend is gay so that's the reason (casue I need one). Low key drinks night.

Sat: Shopping pretty much all day (got dat moving bonus check today). Picking up shit that you just can't find in Madison, WI (which covers a wide variety of stuff). Then we're gonna meet up with my buddy Brent who's gonna be in town on business for what will likely be a long night of drinking. Should be cool, this is the first friend of mine from back home that the lady's meeting. Pretty safe intro to the band of monsters I call my friends. Supposed to hit up some late night hot-dog place that's supposed to be tight as hell. Any of you Windy-City dwellers know about this?

Sun: Get up and shove some greasy grub down my gullet. Then start heading back to WI. Gonna stop @ IKEA on the way to buy a bunch of shit for the house that we don't need, but will buy anyway cause you can't walk out of IKEA whithout spending more than $200 for some reason. Back to HQ for some serious mongering.

Friday - Triple Threat Movie Night: The Interpreter, Hitch-hiker's Guide to the Galaxy, Star Wars. Main challenge will be staying awake given I was out until 1:30 last night. [Ric Flair]Woo![/Ric Flair]

Saturday - Probably some laundry and a few bills. Lots of Neverwinter Nights (including my first attempt at multiplayer that evening)

Sunday - Church. Beverages with a Danish girl. Early, light dinner with some people over from the States. Later, not-so-light dinner with some other friends.

An old friend of mine from high school is coming in town for the weekend, so it will be a lot of hometown talk and boozing. Haven't seen him in quite awhile, so it will be a good time. Planning on more drinking and bbqing for Saturday and Sunday. Going to get some pork ribs today and get them ready for grilling tomorrow. Recipes and suggestions welcome.

Let me know when the hookers show up, and I'll be over.

I have to work quite a bit, but other than that, hanging out with the gf at her ice cream shop and going out or staying in with her, which usually involves some drinking. I may also do some house shopping this weekend too.

Nah...I'll just stop by a couple places heavily populated by drunkin college girls right around closing time...

OK...real plans...

I got a soccer game tonight, then a modestly sleazy little local bar with a bartender that plays great music. Saturday, a bar-b-q in a lovely little park in the ghetto. Then, Saturday night, grabbing a couple folks and going to see this...

Image

Lots of sleeping on Sunday as I've already been up since 4 AM today and probably won't sleep much until then.

Oh...and if my girlfriend ran an ice cream shop, I'd weigh about 300 lbs.

I dunno. Scotty D is in town, and he sorry. If things go right I will probably be out of a job and in jail for MULTIPLE felonies by this time tomorrow.

Esta noche: LCD Soundsystem w/ MIA(!!!!)

Manana: Get up to the farmer's mkt, grab some cheese, veggies, maybe some flowers. Chill for a bit, then head out to my spot downtown, where the section I'm in charge of is sponsoring a DJ residency by a Flint guy who's gonna be at the Detroit techno fest next weekend. Drink a lot, give away some Tshirts, smile and make everyone have fun.

Domingo: Thought I was gonna chill, but a chica I met @ the wedding last weekend emailed this morning and said she is coming to town to hang out with a friend who's going out of town soon, so we'll all get together. This girl's got potential, so I'm diggin' this.

Unfortunately, no. I don't even know if they have stove top over here?

First one is with people I can't see any other time as they're going to a matinee and leaving the next day (strategy: take them to a pizza place and order salad, snagging one of their slices of course). Second one is a surprise birthday thing (curry is the front runner).

Besides, I'm a growing boy.

I'll have a hangover, I guess. He's a mate, but he sorry. And you never know what's gonna happen.

Tonight - Hot date consisting of drinks and jazz at the High Museum of Art followed by dinner at Two Urban Licks. (some new hipster joint in the Highlands) After dinner is unknown......drinking?

Saturday - Grilling out in Piedmont Park for a birthday party during the day, copious amounts of Bloody's and beer.

.....possibly Built to Spill @ the Variety in the evening followed by late night alcohol poisoning.

Sunday - Soup pouring session and maybe some time by the pool if weather permits.

Bartending at the Styx concert tonight at the local amphitheater. Woohoo! Does it get any better?

Other than that, continuing to work on the Sistine Kitchen.
