Right Yo Daddy. He shop at Wal Mart and, he sorry. That's where he bought his rotary phone, and his orthopaedic shoes. He tried to get his crooked eye fixed there, too, but Wal Mart hasn't expanded into hospitals....YET.

I still think we could've done better. I remember 14 pg long threads back in the days of yore.

I may be totally wrong here (doubt it) but I would guess that most of the people on this board do understand what Wal-Mart is all about and do not need to be preached to for doing a fraction of their shopping there.

C'mon dude. Seriously. I admire your passion, but I for one don't want to have to read all about the big, bad, wal-mart every fucking time the name comes up. And it does come up often around here. Because we are, for the most part, educated, rational thinking people who don't need our values spoon fed to us. At least I don't.

Don't read the post then. Or ignore it. Is it really that hard? Shit, people post all kinds of opinions on here. Am I not allowed one?

oh my god dude. Shut the fuck up.

Personally, this won't affect me using Netflix. I am a satisfied user of their service and don't see how I would accomplish anything if I were to cancel my membership.

But...if I see that Netflix is eliminating titles from their selection due to controversial topics (like Wal-Mart has done in the past), then I will have no choice but to do something.

I don't see that happening...the whole key to Netflix success is that they offer ALL types of movies.

BTW, the reason I posted this in the first place is that I thought it was "good news" that one of the main Netflix competitors had gone under. Now we'll see if they can withstand a possible Blockbuster/Amazon pairing...

This is why some of us were less than thrilled with the direction it got dragged, maybe. I agree, it's fantastic news. Netflix was a great idea, and for once it didn't die or get bought out. Yet.

I talked to my postman the other day, and he says "got some movies here for ya." I asked how many people on my street use netflix, and he said maybe 1/4, but it was growing. Pretty cool, for a backwards little bedroom community.
