Going to get some pork ribs today and get them ready for grilling tomorrow. Recipes and suggestions welcome.

Let them sit over night in a dry rub of spices and mustard, then cook all afternoon on low heat.

TODAY: driving to Toronto.
TONIGHT: hopefully seeing WOLF EYES!!!! (can anyone confirm their show at the El Mo tonight?)
TOMORROW: haircut, play sports, meet 12XU, acquire skateboard, Chinese at my aunt's, hopefully M.I.A./DIPLO/LCD SOUNDSYSTEM if Diplo can help me out
SUNDAY: more sports, wedding #1, skip wedding #2 for WOLF EYES at the Horseshoe!!!
MONDAY (long weekend): drive back to MONTREAL, pick up VIRGINIE, head to VICTORIAVILLE for THE MOTHERFUCKING BOREDOMS

Life is beautiful.

Friday: Work, then off to some sort of sports bar for Yankees/Mets if it's stops raining.

Saturday: subway'ing it to "Flushing" to see Yanks / Mets if it doesn't rain. Evening includes a possible trek to Long Island for my buddies band. If not, staying home and watching the fights on HBO.

Sunday: Relax and softball, once again, if it doesn't rain.

No clue. None. Wife might or might not have a girls' night planned for staurday, but it keeps changing. So I don't know if I can call anyone I know to make counterplans. Meh. When you're unemployed, every day is the weekend, which isn't a good thing.

no it does not. when they play "Lady" (and you know they will), think of the board. You'll have 11 minutes to do so.

I expect they're talking about The Weiner Circle. It's on N. Clark Street in Lincoln Park. It's always packed after bar close with a bunch of rowdy folks.

It was on Insomniac with Dave Attell at one point.

The schtick is that the employee's are super rude to the customers and the customers are rude and belligerent right back.

There's a lot of swearing back and forth and general craziness.

Yo Cap, I have to admit, as money as this move sounds it was a little selfish on my part also. They apparently are having this really cool photography exhibit of these historic photos of the Memphis blues scene in the 50's and 60's, Beale St. to be exact. Lots of black and whites of early Ray Charles, Aretha, BB King, etc plus hundreds of unknown musicians. Actually looking forward to checking it out.

Once, in high school, I had this girl-friend (who I oh-so desperately wished were a girlfriend), and I took her to the High for her birthday. Then we went to Einstein for food, and man was it a good day. The exhibit was Annie Liebowitz. It was awesome.

Just don't forget to pay more attention to her than the pictures, at least for appearances' sake. Nothing turns girls off faster than playing second fiddle.

Tell me it wasn't wine in a box. Although now that I think of it, Busty's lady informs me that boxed wines are coming back in fashion, and I'll take her word for damn-near anything. She cultured.

And you're going back in for seconds tonight?! Your spleen is gonna march right out your ass in protest.

Pollstar has them at El Mocambo tonight. Windish Agency (Wolf Eyes agency) doesn't have the date listed.

My weekend:
My best bud is coming up from Atl. to play in a lacrosse game tomorrow. We're going to see Immortal Lee County Killers tonight at Radio Cafe along with The Humans and Alcohol Stunt Band.
Should be a fun weekend.
