exhausted from travelling, i have no energy for a night out on the town. i'm sitting here with a pile of music and a bottle of vodka.

exhausted, I'll be staying home tonight...how do you Chicago people deal with that fucking traffic. I was at McCormick for work yesterday...and we left at like 6:00 pm, went down lake drive to get to 94 and we crawled for like an hour and a half, then we rolled slowy...then we payed ridiculous tolls, then I got back to illwaukee after 9:00...putting in a solid 14 hour day.

I'll be listening to that coral album later on.

maybe staying in, maybe goin out, although i just received a phone call from someone i definitely need to avoid, and i am so tired from drinking too much last night. so, staying in. or maybe going out.

i thought that'd be a real hardship when i moved here, but i now usually just use public transportation when moving during peak hours. i rarely drive during the day, except for the gym or shopping.

My work is an elevator ride away from home so I avoid the traffic thankfully.

I don't have to use my car much but when I do, yeah it's annoying. It's MUCH worse in the burbs though where I used to live before I moved to the city. Out there they have no clue what to do when confronted with a stop sign.

As for me tonight, watching the daytime emmy's on cbs( I admit it, I'm a HUGE General Hospital fan hehe so I'm watching to see if they win any) while getting ready to head out to The Beat Kitchen where Riviera is playing late late later.

I just removed the sound system from the car, haven't eaten yet, haven't had Brador numero uno yet, gotta get up early tomorrow to pick up new wheels. I'm in tonight.

i'm here until wife comes home. don't know after that.

grudge is on directv for 50cent (the game not included) at 9. will probably watch that since they'll never pay ME to watch it.

I was out tonight, and just got home. I went to a show at the 40 Watt... Mike Johnson and Built to Spill. Good times.

Turns out, I was. We had plans to go a party / concert thingy at a bar downtown, but then at 8 she just sorta chickened out and wanted to go to bed. She's running a half marathon as we speak, and had to get up at 5, so we hit the sheets at the crack of 8:30.

And then somehow I stayed in bed until 8am...
