i don't think that it's planning that's the problem, its that the draw is cotton coming to texas. you pretty much know right now whether you're going or not.

i think that depens on how drunkenly and erratic my posting habits get between now and then. Or at least on how my bluegrass album, Cotton Picks the Hits sells...

booking my flight at the end of this week as well as room reservations. i should probably buy some sort of ice suit for the weather as well...

That's cuz we're spoiled by our beach breezes.

Seriously, though, my parents are Texan and they thought it was great 'fun' to load the family up in the station wagon and travel halfway across the country and spend two weeks in Texas every year. Sweating in a vinyl station wagon seat was not my idea of fun. Taking a shower and attempting to dry yourself while the humidity kept your body damp was not my idea of fun either. Other than that, Texas is nice.

heh. i've been cruising findagrave.com and i'm intent on seeing Ima Hogg's/Stevie Ray's/Stephen Austin's gravesites. It seems Sterling Morrison was cremated and given to his wife, so that one's ruled out.

either way...i'll be there form the 13th to the 19th, or something along those lines. i'll pm ya when i get home, Bob.
