It took him 91 fucking games, but he FINALLY earned his paycheck...at least today. If he plays like this for the remainder of the WCF, I might -- MIGHT -- be willing to move him up from his current ranking as the single worst free agent signing in NBA history.

GO SPURS GO!!!

man the celtics have made some horrible trades in the last 10 years.

chauncey billups and some stiffs for an over the hill kenny anderson and some other stiffs? they'd kill to have chauncy back...

joe johnson to phoenix for some guys that aren't even with the team anymore.

actually i take the knight signing back, their worst signing has to be vin baker. how does the guy have it in his contract that it can be voided if he falls off the wagon, yet he drinks it up, gets the bulk of his contract paid from the celtics and then gets signed by another team?

In all fairness, people were laughing at pitino for drafting both billups and johnson...hindsight is a bitch,

Take ben wallace, for instance...

Dude, I can name a worse signing from the past 18 months.

'Zo Mourning with the Nets for $5 million per and dude played like 10 games for them in a season and a half.

If we move beyond free agents, the coin that Glenn Robinson, Allan Houston, and Diekembe Mutumbo picked up (all at $12M+/year) is in-sane like Crazy Eddie.

As a Bucks fan, though, I have to wonder -- was twenty points a game worth it? No defense, minimal rebounding, no passing ("sharing of the rock", I believe they say on the streets), but always, always, twenty-points-per. Was it worth it?

No. Not worth it.

As for Grunfeld trading Jesus on the way out the door, though, and getting Gary Payton for roughly thirty games -- that wasn't worth it either.

Desmond Mason is nice enough, sure, but... No Ray Allen he.

The Sonics have Jim McIlvaine and resigning Vin Baker as some of the worst ever. Glad to see Bones (Barry) have a good game. He was always a solid player here in Seattle, but the Spurs did overpay a bit.
