I thought it was a pretty good episode. They know how to pull the heart strings. Great music Coldplay, Ryan Adams, and someone said that the live group was Sam Prekop?

That episode rocked. Loved the ending. Much better then last year's.

i also loved how they fast-forwarded through most of the scenarios in a trippy/flashback/this-isnt-happenin kindda way without slugging through everything overly emotional. very cool and futuristic direction/cinematography (uh. this is is the O.C. what the fuck dude. uh). i know

and sandy's speech at the funeral. so mint. man you nailed it.

way to wrap up a (mostly) crappy season




i was pleasently pleased.

After a fairly lackluster and dissappointing season, they did a good job with the last couple episodes and especially the finale.

It was good enough that I'll tune in next year and give them a chance, for a few episodes at least.

- Everyone finds out that Caleb has died. People come back for the funeral, including Haley and Jimmy.

- Kirsten is depressed because of her dad's death and is sliding into alcoholism even further than before. Sandy looks into checking Kirsten into a rehab clinic. Stages an intervention with the help of everyone else. Kirsten breaks down and goes to rehab.

- Jimmy and Julie hang out and start getting sweet on each other again, decide to try out the marriage thing (or at least living together) one more time.

- Summer confronts Marissa about her and Trey, Marissa confesses and Summer then goes and tells Seth who then goes and tells Ryan

- Ryan goes to beat up/maybe kill his brother until Trey pulls a gun on him. Big scuffle and the gun gets knocked away. Trey gets upper hand on Ryan and starts beating his ass, then reaches for a telephone to bash Ryan's head in (to kill him, I assume). Marissa walks in, sees gun, and shoots Trey in the back. Great use of Imogen Heap song in the final scene.

I guess we are to assume Trey has died, but its not out of the realm of possibility that he didn't.

the two girls that appeared on the show (the one who broke up with ryan every week and the other who ended up being coo-coo for females) the first half of the season were the best things to happen to the show this season.

I thought the crazy ass druggie girl was pretty superhot as well.

i don't think trey is dead... if you paid attention, marissa shot him in the shoulder. sandy is way too good to kirsten. glad she's going to rehab. also i'm lovin how jimmy is back, i really like his character. i hope him & julie will work out.

although- the character i dislike the most is that bitch theresa. i bet she's gonna try to claim the baby is his, but i think it's really eddie's. whore. next season is going to be absolutely fantastic.

and that stupid newport slut needs to go away. (btw- that's how most of the chicks are in newport beach, it's pretty damn hilarious how on point they are)

i think anna should come back. she's hot.

also trey was the best thing season 2 by a mile. he bought that irrational/psychotic element in spades. thank god for that

yes, i love the addition of trey to the show. i usually don't like most of the secondary characters... oliver was the worst, theresa comes in second. but trey is great. (not to mention he's good eye candy).

Yea, I had a discussion about whether or not Trey is dead after the episode. The only thing is that it showed the slow motion of blood bleeding through the front of his wife beater, so I took that to mean that the bullet had gone through his body. Otherwise, the blood would have stayed to his back. But the original shot looked like it deflected off his right rear shoulder and did not go through his body.

And why the hell am I sooo surprised that they killed off Caleb? That seems absurd. I betcha anything he's really not dead, or at least he's really a vampire(would explain a lot about that icy cold demeanor) and he'll come back to suck Julie dry.

By the way, I know this is just me, but uhhh..I actually thought Marissa was a bit more interesting since her attack. At least acting wise.

Oh and I love Seth. love love love him. And his parents. And Julie. Yeah, the adults rule.
