I hereby humbly request 2 songs, if somebody has them and doesn't mind hooking me up with them...

Day After Day by Badfinger, and
I Love You by Climax Blues Band.

I can't seem to find them anywhere without being sure I won't get a computer-wrecking virus. Any help is appreciated.

Thanks yall.

I wasn't sure whether I had these or not (I remember having the 45 of that Climax Blues Band song as an early teen), but when I searched my collection, I was only able to find "Couldn't Get It Right" (CBB's only other hit). Sorry about that, Ky. I'm actually surprised I don't have any Badfinger. I should rectify that.

Damn, thanks a ton for looking! I'm about this () close to hooking up the wife's old pc, going to Kazaa (spyware be damned) and trying to download them. I looked for ages, and found tons of small-time fan sites, but almost all their audio files had been disabled.

Thanks for trying!

I've got both, but due to a pc-related issue, will not be logging onto slsk or colinswood anytime during the next couple o' weeks.

Would a burned cd suffice? Perhaps I can throw on additional tuneage as well...just let me know.

They're both in oldies rotation at my station. If no one's gotten back to you by tonight, I'll see if I can get them out to you.

I've never used YSI before, but can't imagine it's too difficult.

It would, and I'm shockingly low on recent+good tuneage. But let's see if I can weasle it out of Spoon first without wasting any postage...

I'e been upon the receiving end of YSI, never loaded. I have, however, been on the giving end of AIM, which is slightly more complex, still not rocket science.

I'd be glad to figure out whatever is needed. YSI can't be hard. Thanks, yall!

It does indeed. Beggars, however, shan't be choosers.

VERY much obliged. Determine a suitable return favor.

Only 41 more payments.

If you're a real Captain, you must make a lot of booty swagger from the pirating. Or if you're a starship Captain, I imagine the federation pays pretty well.

I only owe like 8-thousand. Chump change, yeah?

I should do a daily ysi of "70's AC oldie that I hear everyday but that indie rock fans haven't heard since they were 10"

It might remind me that some of these tunes are actually really good.

Remember, now, Starfleet released me from my duties. I am captain of only this computer chair at present.

Think cheaper.

I would soooooo love if you did that. There are so many of those tunes that I've fogotten about that would make great cover songs. Either that or songs to monger to.

I'll see if I can do that.

Maybe I'll do a "great college rock song from the droning lists 1978-1993" ysi, too.
