But you see... It all comes down to "The Shit" that Gwen is s-o-o-o enthralled with. We ARE MIRED In SHIT! Hollaback Girl! Hallelujah!

I love Gwen. She's the geekiest hot girl on the planet. Or maybe the hottest geek girl.

But that doesn't save this song.

Heard this song for the first time all the way through this last weekend. This is one of the worst songs I have...ah fuck it.

The song is so bad that I've decided I like it.

It so Spice Girls-gangsta

I don't get her. She pined for her ex-boyfriend/bandmate for years, she has to mention how "hot" her husband is whenever she's on tv, she goes on and on about how much she wants a baby... girlfriend sounds a little insecure to me. But hey, she puts up a good front.

That's because she's a tall, shy new-wave geek playing hottie-girl dress-up.

I bet she spent years not being able to assert herself and the Gwen persona is her way of being extroverted. The lyrics on her solo album address this quite a bit. There's actually some unusual and pretty good songs on it.

But I'm more a fan of her awesome legs then her actual songs.

oh, believe me, I wouldn't mind having the ripped abs she has! Yeah, the album does have some good songs on it. And then there are some real head-scratchers, like the aforementioned.

Wifey loves this album. I find it to be overproduced garbage.

Hilarity ensues.

Wife will NOT take the song off XM in the car if it comes on, dispite my putting it out there that I "fucking HATE this song, it's making my blood pressure skyrocket as we speak, and if you don't take it off I'm going to drive us into the nearest oak tree I have any chance of actually hitting, just for the sweet sweet relief." Nope, still left it on. God help me if Spirit of Radio comes on, and I don't change it for her... [wife voice]"That's different."[/wife voice]

seconded. Go out somewhere dancing and see what happens when it comes on. It's like crack in audio form.

First I saw / heard of it was on tv. I think the video came on while I was on vacation.

It's "stop what you're doing and stare" bad. Toni Basil's "Mickey" for a new age. But they keep spelling out "Bananas." ?!?!!

Her voice gives me seizures. That song destroys brain cells. Since I don't have many left to spare, a consider it an hazard to my health.

Toni Basil was hotter... and her lyrics hit hard and true, like Sugar Shane.

Me and contra are in the minority here, because I find the song to be fun and the beat is kinda hott.

This song is the worst white girl rapping since Blondie.

I like No Doubt, but I didn't have high expectations for her solo album. With that said, the CD is quite the stink bomb with very few redeeming tracks. "Hollaback girl" is unlistenable and an embarrassment. I hate to hear the leftover tracks that didn't make the album.

she's a hollaback girl, and she goes too far, cuz she knows it don't matter anyway. she can rely on stink bomb money. she can rely on stink bomb money.
