I love it. I have 2 issues.

1. That stupid download box that pops up and has to be closed
2. Why do extra blank pages pop up all the time.

Love it. The only problem I have are that a lot of pages don't work right unless you use Explorer. That's annoying but not enough to deter me from using Firefox.

Pagoda, I wish I had an answer for you. Fortunately, my Firefox doesn't have the second problem you listed. I agree about the download box, though.

I added IMDb, allmusic, allposters and maybe another one to the search bar in the browser. It comes out really handy. There are tons of different search engines to add to that search function as well.

downTHEMall! is a good way to download lots of files off of one page (eg when full albums are posted on a site one file at a time).

That's the extent of the extensions I have used.

thinking of the kind of porn that Dalen might enjoy just made me openly ill.

Ideas? I think it involves lots of pain, fake tits, and.....PUNISHMENT!

I'm sure he has his own bizarre proclivities, but you are likening him to Charlie Steiner or James Eckhouse, and that my friend, might be over the line.

Yes! I hate that. It has something to do with the file extensions, and there is an extension (Disable Targets for Download) that helps with it, but for places like AllMusic, Amazon and CDUniverse, who utilize, I think, PHP to open their audio files, it won't work, and results in that extremely annoying blank page that I then have to back up from. Why Mozilla won't fix this, I can't imagine. It is my absolute, number one, most hated gripe about Firefox. This is one of those things that prevents me from recommending the browser to everyone - "light" internet users, like my parents, would be completely confused when confronted with a blank page like that.

i love it so, so much. heres a list of extensions i use.

bugmenot. simply cant live without it. gets rid of the hassle of individual site subscriptions.
adblock. didnt like it much at first, but have grown to love it. blocks out anything you want, including ads.
local install. great for stubborn extensions or themes that wont auto install.
miniT. allows tab dragging. simple and easy.
greasemonkey. i love it. the allmusicguide script is a MUST.
sessionsaver. saves your pages after you quit, even if firefox crashes.
menu editor. get rid of all those menu options you never use.
downthemall. download multiple links on a webpage.
infolister. lists all your extensions. great if youre backing up or changing computers.
bbcodextra great for message boards. saves you a few clicks if you want to do things to text. for example, i used it for every link on this post. its great.
also, check out this page if you feel like looking for more.

Use the User Agent Switcher. It'll identify Firefox as whatever browser you'd like (like IE), so you can access sites that block non-IE browsers. It won't work if the site uses IE-only code, though.
