Seriously, he looked tired and distant the whole fight.. I tell you, the Gomez Manfredo rematch should have been the final....that was a great fight. This one blew...and Sly saying over and over "There has to be a rematch..." why? This is one time where we needed Apollo Creed .. "There will be NO rematch"

Yeah, it was kind of a lame fight. Mora is definitely a champ though. Had legs, arms, and quick jabs right up until the end. He hits hard, and he simply wore Manfredo out, which was a surprise to me seeing the shape he was in.

The Gomez / Manfredo rematch will be interesting, but I'd really like to see Gomez take on Mora first. Gomez has such heart, and was without a doubt my favorite fighter on the show.

I meant the 3rd round Manfredo/Gomez fight.. that was a championship fight. Mora surprised me, for some reason, I missed all his previous fights. Manfredo definitely had a plan, keep him close so that he couldnt move around, but like you said Mora tired him out. I dont think Mora would have been able to do that to Gomez...

Good point. Gomez would have kept him pushed off, and had more of a chance to really land some hard punches to the face....something Manfredo didn't get a chance to do. Plus Gomez hits HARD.

I just finally caught this show via the CNBC rebroadcast last wknd. Actually pretty entertaining; hopefully i can catch the final some lazy night this week.
