Seriously.
We all know the genius bass player that he is, but....
I just heard the "Golden Slumbers" medley and, early on George plays a typical, masterful George solo – lyrical and perfect. Then, when it starts rocking out, Paul comes in with a motherfucker of a solo!

And his leads on "Taxman" and "Good Morning, Good Morning" are equally mindfucking.

Hear me all ye Paul naysayers: Like not, you may the man's syrupy side, but doubt not his ability to rock.

I wish he had more of his own lead guitar playing out there.
