Have any of you heard this album before? My friend pointed it out to me at Borders today and told me to listen to samples of it when I got home, and it sounds fantastic. It's some dirty, soulful Detroit R&B/hip-hop influenced by people such as Jay Dee (he helps out on a few tracks) and it seems to be one of ?uestlove's favorite records at the moment.

I'm thinking about picking it up sometime this weekend. It's a very welcome surprise that seems to have come out of nowhere. :)

yeah i listen to it in my car a lot. it's not as good as i wanted it to be, but it's pretty fresh.

and idk about "coming out of nowhere" the guys have been featured and had interviews in like every big indie publication in the last few weeks.
