Once you've run out of room on your iPod and have to update from the playlist entitled "iPod selection," how do you get your playlists from iTunes onto the iPod? This is really bugging me because I want to make some mixes.

This question needs some clarification. What is this "ipod selection" list to which you refer?

Yeah more info..but barring that.. Ill wager a nice vague answer..

im not sure i completely understand the question. but:

if all the songs are already on your ipod and you want to make a mix of songs on your ipod, then you have to make sure you are viewing your ipod through i-tunes, then click the little "+" button on the bottom left of i-tunes. this creates a new playlist. drag and drop your songs into the playlist

OK, more info...I have lots of playlists, which I have listened to on my ipod, but once I ran out of room, iTunes automatically created a playlist of all my songs so I could pick which ones I wanted on my iPod. Basically, I had to get rid of some songs so the selection fit on my iPod. Now my iPod updates off of this playlist.

The problem is, suddenly all my other playlists disappeared.

If this problem makes sense, I would like to know if there's any way I can still get playlists.
