You should know that Mr Ted appears to have no capacity for real cynicism, at all. Be prepared.

I would not put it past the man. He just wants you to care, you know? Because he does.

He's pretty darn excellent live. I'm hoping, now that I'm moving to the DC area, that we can be buddies and go out for coffee on alternate thursdays.

what percentage of the time you spent on the drive home from the concert did you spend thinking of that line?

Wow, totally different set than when I saw him on Friday night.... I was kinda disappointed by the turnout of the crowd, but then there was another huge show going on. But, point is, yes, Ted Leo is amazing live.

I sorta like his music but he was just annoying as fuck when I saw him a couple of years ago.

I saw him open for the Dismemberment Plan and he was ok, but what I really remember is him and his bandmates tying up Travis from D-Plan in duct tape during their encore and then taping a microphone near his head so he could still sing. Travis started flailing around, but kept singing "OK Joke's Over" or whatever song they always ended their encores with. Truly bizarre, but it was freaking awesome.
