for the record i never wear sandals. i have a couple pair of flip flops that i buy new every summer and then i only wear them around the house or at the beach.

I have a pair of these. They're a bit expensive ($70.00) but they've lasted me almost 4 years now and they're comfortable...and they're good looking sandals... Jesus would've been jealous.

I lost some really cool flip-flops doing that. I was trying to mow the lawn before it started raining and didn't take the time to change shoes. But it was cool to hear the flops hitting the blades and go all chunkety-chunk. Damn, though... they were some fun flip flops. (sniff)

I absolutely cannot stand that toe wedgie on a flip-flop type shoe.

Just thinking about it makes my toes hurt. Dont you all remember as a kid running through wet grass around a sprinkler, then all of a sudden,
your foot catches on something, yet you keep moving forward sliding
with an atomic toe wedgie. ACK!

Wear whats comfortable. dont give into to following the f'ing herd of floppers.

My next pair of sandal/summer shoes will def be some new KEENs with the toe covered. Great for biking through and around the city/water etc.
