Wait, the M3 Power actually DOESN'T lift the hairs off my face?!?!?

Gillette vs. Schick

All I know is no razor that I've used can shave closely under my chin. I'm a Quattro man myself.

Sorry but I'm not putting anything that vibrates and has razor blades near any part of my body.

Still, I stick with Gillette Mach3 Turbo. I like that they're based in MA too. I tried a Quattro once and it sucked.

A good old-fashioned acid peel is still the best way to get rid of unsightly facial hair.

As do I.

My girlfriend won't let me watch her stand by hers though. Hmmmm.

paladisiac, if you can never get that close of a shave anyway, you should seriously check out electrics. i hate shaving way less now.

I would do that if I liked patches and red spots where the hair was pulled out instead of shaved.

Seriously, what model do you own? Because everyone I have ever used did not work and caused serious pulling. But I would love to use an electric to at least keep this wolf neck tame between weekly shavings. If I only had to razor shave once a week or so, that would be fantastic.

You should really check out that vibrating jobby-job Gillette makes now. I was bitching in last season's shaving thread the Mach 3 dual-exhaust did nothing but give me permanent razor burn where my 'wolf neck' used to be. Since switching over to the battery-powered, neck mange is gone and my face's never been smoother says the wife. The vast pock marks and knife scars are still visible, however.

Norelco 5810 XL. It's a pretty basic 3-circular-blade model.

I had more trouble with pulling with the other, straight-across kind like this:

But with the Norelco I have no redness compared to any of the countless manuals I've used, no bleeding at all, and no pulling unless I let the whiskers go for a few days.

i've also had total shit luck with electrics, which was reiterated over the past weekend when i gave up shaving halfway through because the shit just wasn't worth it.

Fuck a razor. Beards are the shit.

To clean up the unsightly John C. Calhoun throat beard I use the Gillette Sensor I got in the mail 10.5 years go, but with Sensor Excel blades I buy once a year.

I can only have a beard for about four to five months before it goes all crazy on me and if you trim it just goes even more crazy.

i have had a couple beards over the past year but my wife doesn't appreciate it and I always feel hot.

i find that the best shave for me is cheap ass razors with 2 blades.

I have a Mach 3 and find it works better than anything else I've tried. I'm scared of the electric version, though.

I hate shaving with a passion. I generally go 3-4 days between shaves to reduce blood loss.

Nah, just your friendly non-profit worker, but we have "professional issues". As in we want to be taken seriously in the business world. Whatever.
It doesn't bother me because when it's not busy(like now) i get to post my ass off and nobody cares.
