Green Day. Never really liked Oasis. Don't much care for Green Day either, though.

Oh yeah, that song is kinda cool too. Not as fun as playing the two Nickleback songs on top of each other but still pretty cool.

That is the duet that I would listen to right before I decided to listen to nothing but classical music for the rest of my life.

I finally got hear some of the supposedly "great" lyrics of that Boulevard of Broken Dreams song though.

If I am choosing, Oasis.

Green Day, because Warning and American Idiot are actually not all that bad. Though Definitely Maybe is a lot better than Dookie.

But that isn't the point of this thread?

I'm not really into Green Day much at all. So Oasis. I actually think their best work is Standing on the Shoulders of Giants.

Um... the point of this post was not to choose (both bands have their grat moments and their shit, IMO), but to check out the fucking tune up there.

That's some pretty cool shit.
And I think they have other mashups there, too.

Green Day music I like, attitude I like, perseverance I like, passion I like.

Lyrics ----- uh...not so much. No.

Oasis --- Liam's historically a prick and deserved to have been beat up in a bar far more than Adam Ant ever did. But musically, I got nothing against them. Had several aimless albums and several very good ones.

Green Day actually released a mash-up to radio with Oasis last fall. Probably thought it would be better to confront the swiping head-on and say it was done on purpose. I've got it on a singles sampler at work.
