edit:oh yeah. That is a very deep sea fish that had never been seen before (and theorized not to exist) that was washed up during the tsunami a few months ago. Apparently, it was raining these suckers on certain parts of the region. I had a whole roll of this stuff, hundreds of species of rare fish thrown up on beaches to be viewed by human eyes for the first time. i get a kick out of it. i always forget i have an album here. i should really get on putting more shit up.

that is awesome, but no. the weekend was a bit of a blur, though. that's chase and his special lady friend and i on the mouth of the Sassafras River. since it's one of my whopping 3 cmj/obner meetings, i figured it was pertinent for the site.

i spent the last hour trying to upload some other pics from my phone tto here (namel of the hold steady and me in the emergency room), but none of them seem to be taking. maybe over the weekend.
