I am intrigued by some information I have received on the band, Gentle Giant. Any suggestions on where to start or an overview of what their albums sound like would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

My favorite is The Power & The Glory, though Free Hand is the one that NPR-types love the most and Octopus is the one that gets pointed to as being "good". They had 12 albums, but I only have four. (The band Panurge took their name from a Gentle Giant song, by the way)

The fan is comprehensive, even if critical of some of the things I like about the band.

Thank you very much. I have a feeling I will enjoy most of what this band has to offer.

Haven't heard that in many years. Had a lot of Gentle Giant vinyl when I was in junior high and high school, but that's gone missing at some point.

Today I bought In A Glass House and Free Hand because they were the only two I could find and were remastered. I enjoyed both very much and am looking forward to more.
