i mean it's not immediately in front of you once you get out of the plane, but it's certainly not an inconvenience to get to.

It's a long hike... and sucks, especially when it's 100 degrees or 50 below. I like to walk, but if you have a heavy bag it might not be too fun. I don't get why there's no shuttle?

i guess I just don't see why it's such a long way, or substantially longer than ohare.

I had to walk it with my boss the last time... might explain my disdain!

These directions have proven to be very informative. I'm landing at O'Hare and moseying my way into the city. Taking the train in should be a piece o' cake and walking to the hotel even easier. (I'm taking the Blue Line transferring to the Red Line and getting off on State Street.) Plenty of time to freshen up and meet ya later for bevvies!

they're both mad easy if i remember correctly. midway seems like it's more in the middle of nowhere while being somewhere. it sucked to go from midway to evanston though, long ass train ride.

See, living in the south loop, where Tania's hotel is and where Grant Park is a hop skip and a jump from said hotel, you tend to find Midway is actually a bit closer then OHare.

Granted they may be considered equal distance, they're not. Midway is definitely a tiny bit closer.

A great way to gauge this is by the flat rates the cab drivers charge. It's 14 per person to and from Midway and about 25 for O'Hare(I spend too much time in cabs reading their fare panel obviously).

who the hell said O'hare?
man that is a long trip.

Midway gets you where you want to go easier via the orange line since it goes around the loop, it's bound to get you closer to the hotel, without switching trains.

It was cheaper flying to O'Hare. 'Sides, it doesn't really matter -- the train trip is about an hour long and only costs $1.75. Can't beat that.
