These guys any good live? They're here next month at a street fest and I think I'd love to go! Thanks!

Fuck...YES! They're turbo onstage, full of energy and quite contagious. Plus, their style runs the gamut, from one extreme to the other. Knowing your taste, Dave, I think you'll dig 'em.

Interesting Tanny. They've been thru here a few times since I picked up that first disc and for some stupid reason, I never went. You just sold me and I'll most definitely be at that show next month! Thanks!

Most likely. I can't say I remember seeing it though.

What's on tap for shows Z? Possible Rogue Wave on Friday at Bottom Lounge and dare I say it, but we may catch Travis Morrison this Wed. I guess the band opening before him is solid??

i might be dj'ing at smartbar on wednesday night and i'm going to see riviera at the horseshoe on friday. (it's like five blocks from my apartment.) those are my plans for those nights. i can't say my interest in travis morrison even warrants walking to bottom lounge.

my post in the 2005 concert/gig list thread stays pretty current and i keep a rough upcoming schedule there too. and then i've got ted leo next wednesday and my morning jacket at taste of randolph next saturday. oh hell yes.

I'm friends with Azdru's(sp???) sister (i'm putting together her crib next weekend). He's the the main singer and trumpet player. I've seen them a few times in Boise and they're great live. I didn't know what to expect going in but i was blown away. They have a lot of enthusiasm and charisma on-stage and the crowd usually goes nuts for them. They got me down dancing in front of the stage.

Real nice guys as well.

go if you have the chance.

For those that remember...I still totally dig Travis' rendition of "What's your fantasy?"

DJing at Smartbar, eh? What sort of music do/will you spin??

i do mostly britpop, indie, pop, electronica, etc with some surprises thrown in. one of my friends is the wednesday resident and is curious of my skills. (i haven't dj'd live since october.) at this point, he just wants me to do a short set to see/hear how i'd fit in. i'll definitely be hyping myself if/when i get an actual set.
