I spent the day with my brother at Cedar Point today.

I know, Ohio's pretty lame, but we have a few gems scattered across the state. If you're ever forced to visit Mordor, you should go to CP at least once.

I've been to Ohio twice in each of the last two years and like what I've seen. Except Akron.

I miss amusement parks... Portland is too sketchy on the weather to have one (aside from the ex-cons and the traveling parks that come to town). The closest one, I think, is Disneyland in Anaheim.

Cedar Point is cooler than the amusement park people from my area go to (King's Island). It earns its reputation as the Rollercoaster capital and doesn't seem to get that crowded.

In King's Island, it's all 2 hour waits for rides that never seem worth it.

King's Island is awful, all my friends are from Cleveland and make fun of me because I never made it up to the Point.

The Black Keys warmed up the tar and feathers.

You are dead to me now. ;)

I'm in a similar space actually. Grew up 90 minutes away from the Point. Haven't been since I was 20. Always enjoy theme parks when I'm there (went to one a few months ago) but I don't go out of my way to go to them.

I just couldn't figure out where the Black Keys popped in.

We went to GLBC two years ago, upon your suggestion, and that fucking bread pudding makes my dick hard.

It's been a long time since I was last at Cedar Point. The last time I was there the Magnum was the biggest thing going.

I worked at Kings Island for 3 years. (I made hamburgers and funnel cakes.) I will say that Cedar Point has superior rollercoasters and as well as a greater number of them, but as far as park layout and atmosphere goes, Kings Island wins hands down. (But who goes for atmosphere? People go to get their faces whipped off on the rollercoasters.)

Nothing beats the Eiffel Tower and the fountain area at K.I.
