I don't watch TV, listen to the radio, read magazines or socialize with other human beings so nothing iritates me that much.

Even Starsailor. I just use them as a convenient blank surface to project the inner angry of my own failures. At least that's what my psychiatrist says.

If I had one.

I'm with you guys. If it irritates, I just ignore it. Unless it's like real nasty jock itch in which case I do scratch or at least get some Tinactin.

Yeh, but that shrill, nails on a chalkboard sound. Kind of like that ho who sings on Brooklyn, The Musical... Eden Espinoza or something like that. Putrid.

They can't really be considered current though...

I'm just arguing because I'm outraged that someone considers En Vogue to be annoying. Be colorblind, don't be so shallow!

At the tip top of my list would have to be either Michael Bolton (no talent ass-clown) or <shiver> Smash Mouth. Every time I hear that fucking All-Star song I want to beat my brains in....

They might be on there, but they dont get played as often as Usher, Rob Thomas, Good Charlotte, Nickelback, 50 Cent and the rest of the garbage.

Even MTV can have it's momentary burps of sanity...

BY and large, MTV is trite crap for the mindless sheep, aka today's media loving youth.

already mentioned, but Jason Mraz, Maroon5, and yes, I'll agree with The Killers. I think they really fucking suck and I can't stand that "now she's falling asleep and she's wearing her dress blah blah blah blah blah blah" song. Fuck them.

I must be in the minority, I actually really like that Killers album and especially that song" Mr.Brightside".

I can think of MUCH worse bands to dislike.

Ditto, Charli. I don't catch much radio, so I've been spared some of the overplaying.

I like The Killers as well. You are not alone. If we had a radio station around here that played them as much as I hear Coldplay I might be annoyed by them but we don't.

The Killers aren't original and the album peters out into sameness after track 4, but that fact that guys who dress like my avatar and play music that doesn't sound like warmed-over Blink 182, 3 Doors Down or any of the howling self-pitying 90's nu-metal turds is a huge plus in my eyes (radiowise).

And "Jenny Was A Friend of Mine" shows they have potential to be much better.

To be honest, their earlier studio stuff I really like, up until "Everyday" which I feel was way too overproduced. I still think they can put on a hell of a live show though. Unfortunately a large majority of the population feels the same way, therefore I must hate them.

(Isn't that the hipster/obner way things go around here?)

That's just it though. When a band resembles music I like a little too eerily, yet upon closer inspection REALLLY suck, they annoy me more than just about every other band put together.

Like they're trying to trick me into thinking it's good. I guess that's why all these people hate Louis XIV, though I don't think we have to worry about them more than another month from now. The Killers will probably be around for years to come, because even people on this board like them. And they'll annoy me all the way.

And that the lead singer is so cocky (picking fights with The Bravery? WTF?) easily proves they can't get better.
